The First One

Exhortation

For we who call ourselves Christians, we are (like Paul in Rom 1:1) "set apart for the gospel of God".

I will be at Markville Mall (in Markham) tonight at 6PM for an hour or two, proclaiming this same gospel that we were set apart for. I'll be talking to random people in the food court about "his resurrection from the dead, Jesus Christ our Lord" (Rom 1:4).

Believer, join me if you are near the area, pray for me if you are far. Pray for them too, for our God is so near to us, yet so far from them. Text/Call me if you are coming.

Testimony

Though discouraging at first, God worked tonight. I've been so blessed in the past few months that I had forgotten what it feels like to be rejected time and time again, pushed away and glared at. Nevertheless, God honors faithfulness, not fruitfulness. Seeds were planted and it is only him who can make them grow.

Pray for Justin especially as I got to walk with him around the mall, sharing about where he will spend eternity and about the need of Jesus Christ on that fateful day. Live for eternity guys! There is no other life worth living for!

Purpose Statement

We go out every Tuesdays to the local mall to share God's gospel of repentance and faith in Jesus Christ alone for the forgiveness of sins and eternal life (Rom 1:3; Luke 24:47; Gal 2:16; John 17:3).

We pray at all times knowing that it is only the Holy Spirit's work that will save people, with us being the chosen instruments (Eph 6:18; Rom 8:26; Acts 9:15).

We disciple others to fulfill the great commission and equip more Christians to multiply across all nations (Matt 28:19; 2 Tim 2:2).

We weep bitterly over every lost soul that is rejecting God and would do anything for their salvation (Phil 3:18; Rom 9:3).

We believe that the primary goal of evangelism is the same as every other spiritual gift: to build up the church (Eph 4:11-12).

We share, for that end, an exhortation before we go out and a testimony when we return in order to edify as many people as possible, especially our local body of believers (Eph 4:29; Gal 6:10).

We hope, to that end, you will be encouraged and challenged by this site (1 Thess 5:11; 2 Tim 4:2).

We will never stop evangelizing, never stop building up Christ's church, and never stop working for Him until the whole world never stops worshiping Him (Psalm 67:5).

We want you to evangelize too, but even more to unceasingly pray with us and for us because it is more effective than you can imagine and is where the battle is fought, then won (2 Tim 4:5; Eph 3:20; 1 Thess 5:17; Eph 6:12).
