Exhortation

Evangelism on Testify Tuesday! 6PM at Markville Mall. Come, or pray. Please?

(I'm filling in for Tony again this week since he's somewhere in Asia relaxing with fam!)

Those of you at Harvest Bible Chapel York Region heard Pastor Paul preach about grace, grace and more grace! Unless we first know that we have sinned against God and deserve the wrath to come, we cannot have the grace that Christ so kindly provides. Does sin rule over us? May it never be! This is not so with the world...they sin willfully! The gospel, through the Holy Spirit, is enough to convert desperate and dying men into new creatures. It is written in Romans 10:14-15 "How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? How shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they here without a preacher? And how shall they preach unless they are sent?" Preach the gospel in season and out of season. Be encouraged!

Testimony

God was truly good to Ben and I tonight. The night started off a bit weird and I was nervous as usual, but God gave both of us a boldness that could only be from Him. We got to share the gospel with Vernon and Pedro (2 Catholics) and Jeff (an agnostic). Then we spoke to Jamal and his friend Brad. Brad told us that he had never really understood the gospel before tonight and that he understood exactly what he has to do to be in a right relationship with Christ! Please pray especially that the Holy Spirit would work in the life of Brad and all the others that we spoke to. We even bumped into a guy who's in the armed forces who I had a chance to speak with. He recognized me, which was amazing, but even more amazing he reminded me about the gospel message I told him...his name is Kevin and I would also hope that this second meeting would not be in vain. Tonight the gospel was preached and all glory goes to God!
